Description
This classic bench is made by our team of experts in our Essex workshop. The back legs and top rail are made from reclaimed timber from an ancient Essex barn on our farm that was taken down in the 1950’s. The closest we can guess as to the age of the barn was that it was erected in the badly defined period known as the middle ages, and that is pretty much guesswork based on the style of carpentry on show.
The rest of the bench is made from locally sourced oak and larch from either our own farm or from the local sawmill depending on availability.
This bench includes a drinks holding tray on one end and a bird on the other. You can of course have 2 drinks holders, 2 birds, 2 anything of your choosing. Please contact us for any ideas you may have – we are yet to find something that we cannot make.
